Question by Bryan N: Shoulder therapy?
Hi, I’m about to go to the doctor tomorrow to get my shoulder checked up. There is a dull discomfort in my shoulder when I move it in a certain way. I still have a full range of motion and can move my arm perfectly fine with a slight discomfort. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. It hasn’t got any better nor any worse.
If I happen to go into physical therapy, how long do you think it will take(days,weeks,hours?)
I really want to go back to lifting weights, but don’t want to do any damage to this annoying shoulder of mines.
I’m 15 years old by the way and the injury was probably from lifting

You failed to say your age, and how you damaged it. Was it from lifting?
Don’t lift until you know what the problem is. Ice is the best.
Or, a non steroidal anti inflammatory – naprosin, aleve, etc.
The therapy depends on the severity of the injury, your age, your overall health, etc.
